Cauldron

A MacOS application for writing C# scripts.

This is currently early in development. Current features:

  • Creating, opening, and saving scripts (.csx files)
  • Syntax highlighting
  • Diagnostics (compile errors and warnings)
    • Toolbar item displaying a count
    • Inline tooltip

Planned features:

  • Show a diagnostics list when the diagnostics toolbar item is clicked
  • File browser in the sidebar
  • Entity Framework scaffolding and database browser in the sidebar
  • Debugging
    • Breakpoints
    • Step through
    • Local variables viewer
